5 Fun Outdoor Activities
1. Have a Ball
A Waboba Ball, that is. It’s the only ball that can “bounce” on water. Take it to the beach and let the fun begin! Alone, you can play it like you would with a skipping stone – just throw it on the water. Try different angles, catching it with one hand, or bouncing it on waves. With a group of friends, you can play the Beach Game – the rules can be downloaded from the Waboba Ball’s official site.
2. Make Like a Gladiator
Hold a pugil duel in your very own backyard with inflatable Pummel Sticks! They’re easy to assemble and come with an air pump. Challenge a sibling or a friend to a match. Just imagine how fun it would be as you and your opponent try to hit each other in a non-violent way. No matter who wins, both parties will surely receive quite a few hits!
3. Fly a Rocket
The pump action Ram Rocket is easy to launch – all it takes is a simple arm movement, then whoosh! Off it will go into the sky. This mini-rocket can fly to up to 100 feet in the air and is aerodynamically designed to spin then glide back down to earth. It’s best flown during nighttime, so its colourful LED lights can stand out against the dark sky.
4. Practice Your Aim
The Big Salvo Foam Rocket Gun can shoot missiles up to 50 feet – don’t worry, it’s all foam, so it’s safe. But if you’re really bad at aiming and can’t hit your target, just hold the trigger to shoot all four darts at once. The Water Mortar also lets you hit things (or people) – only it’s wetter. Just fill up the water bombs, load them into the Water Mortar, aim, and fire (or is it water?) away!
5. Fly a Kite
The Chinese Dragon Kite has a tail that is 30 feet long – but don’t let that intimidate you, this kite is easy to assemble and easy to fly. Made of top-quality ripstop nylon and fiberglass frame, it comes with a reel winder with break control. Likewise, the Parrot Kite is just as majestic and colourful. With a 6-feet wingspan, this kite of spinnaker nylon and fiberglass frame is sure to brighten up the skies.
