Kids are excited to travel and often times, we hear them ask us with the same repeating, burning question, “Are we there yet?” They get too excited and they usually end up bored because of the dreary travel hours. Here are the things that will keep them busy as you get to your destination: 

• Have your MP3 ready with some of the songs that your kids like. Play the songs during you’re on your road trip. This way, they can enjoy the travel while singing to the tune of their favorite music.
• Better to have a little background about the place you’re going to. It’s nice to tell some trivia and history about important attractions and landmarks on your way.
• Keep them occupied with games such as playing cards, or the famous travel game for kids, “Are We There Yet?” It includes 450 cards, each with an item to look out for (a yellow tractor, a red traffic light, or a bird in a tree). Whoever spots the item first will get points, and the player with the most points at the end of the journey wins.
