Did you know that hand, neck and back pains are often caused by wrong positioning of your computer and its peripherals? Studies show that majority of the workers who are experiencing tensed muscles and aching body parts are working in the office 8 hours a day while having a wrong working posture and/or wrong office furniture and machines arrangement.

The correct way to work with your computer is to have your monitor placed right in front of you and within eye level. With this, your head is tilted just the right way, and neck is not bent or flexed excessively.

The mouse and the keyboard, at the same time, should be placed in a way that your arms are bent 90 degrees when using them, consequently minimizing your risk of strained arm muscles and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Now that you know all these, perhaps it’s time to practice the right way to work with your computer. Always remember, keep your monitor close and your mouse and keyboard closer. Spread the word. 
