Uncharted 2 is not number 2, in fact it’s number 1.

In CNET.com’s reviews of the Best Games of 2009, Uncharted 2 tops the charts as the best games for the year with its stunning graphics, engaging storyline, and revolutionary controls.

This is the latest achievement that the game garners after reaping and selfishly owning almost all of the recognition this year. Game Critics Awards, IGN, and X-Play and the geeky side of you knows what that means — it’s awesome!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, also the most critically acclaimed game of 2009, is a sequel to a 2007 hit. It is published for the PS3 by the guys from Naughty Dog, the same guys who produced one of the games that defined the console’s ancestor with Crash Bandicoot.

The sequel to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune lets you join Drake on his quest and adventure in the Himalayas as the story revolves around an unsolved historical mystery: the doomed voyage home of Marco Polo.

The third person action-adventure clearly defines 2009 with motion picture capture and acting that would make many Hollywood actors ashamed of themselves.

Groups and websites rating the game could not give it a score below 90%, something that no other game has achieved this year.

2009 is the year of Uncharted 2.
