After the horrific Windows Vista, which people unanimously agree is a downgrade from its predecessor, Windows XP, because of its turtle-like velocity and unnecessary level of security to prevent piracy which became a battle lost down the line, the guys from Microsoft decided to give up the series and introduced to us, Windows 7.

In Vista, if you do not see the “not responding” sign, you’re not using Windows Vista then. Can we say that we should expect the same horror from Windows 7?

It has been only a few weeks since the product’s release and what can people say… There are many measurements to a product’s success. One of the more obvious ones is the total number of units sold or total income but since it’s too early to decide this part yet.

Well, one it’s too early to say for sure whether it’s doing good or bad, but Windows 7 is showing some promise as it gets less complaints which is something that Windows Vista cannot brag about.

“Overall we are finding our call center volume is down significantly more than we expected,” says Barbara Gordon who is the vice president of the company’s customer and tech support arm.
