Resident Evil takes a bite off the PSP
Resident Evil refuses to be breathing at the back of the neck of its top competitor in the survival horror genre, Silent Hill in the PSP.
Silent Hill was such a big hit with the handheld console when it was released in a few years ago. A good combination of problem solving and puzzles plus the right amount of heart stopping action and gore made this one of the memorable games of the PSP.
The Resident Evil franchise wants to lead the horde in every aspect though, the game where you join the struggle of Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Leon Kennedy as they battle out the Umbrella Co.’s diabolical plot has owned the survival horror genre for quite some time now.
It was such a big hit with every console that it had its teeth on, from its pixelated origins in the PSone to its lifelike graphics in the PS3. The spread of the G Virus on the handheld console borders on inevitable. The only question is when.
And the answer to that question is 2010.
While waiting for the release of the king of the survival horror genre, check out Gadgetepoint, there’s something there that’s sure to excite your hunger for blood and excitement.
