“Toyota expanded too rapidly, and that’s always a risk,”

This was the statement of an economist from the Fujitsu Research Institute, Martin Schulz.

As the world economy tries to analyze the future of the automobile giant, Toyota, and as it tries to find out why the company is losing billions of dollars in recalls for its faulty gas pedals, experts say that the lack of quality control in the Japan based company is based on the pressure to stay number one.

Recently, Toyota has just kicked General Motors from the number one spot in the most brought vehicle category. With the former becoming more fuel efficient than the big bodied and heavy models of General Motors.

Toyota was also pressured to produce unexpectedly more than what they should have to keep the number one position. As Korean cars are giving Toyota a run for its money in the fuel efficiency game.

Mass production? That’s something that Japan was never good at.

Quality control, therefore, failed.

The company used the same parts for most of its vehicles. The problem with this is if that part fails, the whole lineup of vehicles will breakdown as well.

Hence, the recall as the parts from CTS Corp., the American culprit for the faulty gas pedals used in most of Toyota’s models.

Good thing, the gadgets from Gadgetepoint are tested well. No callbacks made on this side of the planet.
