The word buzz is said to mean several things: a feeling of enthusiasm, vibrating sounds, a rumor or a report. All of which can be said to be likened to Google’s New Social Networking Platform, the Google Buzz. Google Buzz is said to challenge popular social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Google Buzz had begun buzzing all around the internet on Tuesday when Gmail users started getting updates about their email friends on what the others are doing online and even shared some ways on how to share video, photos and other forms of digitized snippets.

Buzz lets the updates be from one place: the Gmail website.
