The last 20 years had been marked with technologies people would not have imagined to be created. This is a list created by Iain Thomson and Shaun Michaels of San Francisco. It is surprising that looking at this recap, we would find and see that mobile phone technology has gone through a long way. (This is part 3 of 3)

3. ARM Chip

Arm Chip is in almost all mobile phones. The reason why almost all mobile phones use ARM Chip is because it has a high processing power with a low power footprint.

Motorola DynaTac is the first mobile phone. It was the reason why the mobile phone kicked off, and got the dice rolling.

It was a foot or so long, weighing over two pounds, Its battery life does not last longer than an hour. But it was the reason why many people got interested in the mobile phone industry.

If not for GSM, the entire mobile phone revolution would not have been possible. For the not so techie, GSM is the network on which mobile phones are connected to. This is the easiest and most efficient way to connect to a network and make a call.
