Today, May 22, 2010 a humble video game was released. A yellow disc with a pie slice was introduced to the world by Namco Bandai, his name was Puck Man, but sooner or later his name will change to something friendlier to the ears. The game is now called Pac Man
A few years after its humble beginnings, who would have though that a game with such a simple concept would actually be touted as one of the most influential video games of all time?
Should we explain the objective of the game? Maybe, if you were born yesterday. Though many of the members of the younger generations are not quite too familiar with the game, we’re sure you’ve heard of it. But a few years back, arcade stores were being flooded by people addicted to the game. Hundred and thousands of school allowances were placed into the slot machines to enjoy a few minutes of this arcade classic.
And Google is paying homage to the greatness that is Pac Man as Google launches its very first interactive home page. Visit their home page to check out a fully featured game showing 255 levels of pure pellet-chomping action.
But after visiting Google and enjoying the game, make sure to visit Gadgetepoint for the coolest gadgets on the planet.
