Is there anything that facebook can’t do? Aside from the fact that it has become the most visited website, trumping Google’s well established lead. But aside from playing the role of consumer favorite, it plays the role of a hero to a mother and her kidnapped kids.

A mother from Southern California was able to locate her kidnapped children via the social networking website.


The woman lost her kids 15 years ago when her ex-husband went off with their two and three-year old children but one fortunate day on March, she was able to look for her daugter’s profile via Facebook.

They were able to communicate with each other. “Not interested in a relationship. We just have a happy life. Leave us alone,” said the young girl to her mother.

The children were sooner located in Florida and the father who they were living with for 15 years has been arrested for violating child custody orders.

Of course, the reuniting between the child and the mother is not a happy one. There is no relationship there and that the daughter is more or less estranged from her mother.
