Apple set for September 7 release
Reports state that September 7 will be an important date for Apple.
The consumer electronics giant will be having an event on September 7 to announce the release of a mystery gadget.
But the mystery gadget isn’t too much of mystery as September has been the annual month of release of the update to their iPod Touch line.
The media player was first released in September 2007; they followed up with iTouch 2 on September 2008. Exactly 12 months later in September ‘09, the third generation of the product was released.
And if you put two and two together, it is safe to assume that September 7 is the date that iTouch 4 will be released.
The upgrade will include a front facing camera as production line pictures have leaked stating that the this feature will be in their repertoire.
A 5 megapixel camera may also be added; and an Apple A4 chip might as well be added to as these improvements were reflected on the iPhone upgrade.
If an iPod Touch 4 is not the main feature in the said event, experts are saying that it could be a revamped Apple TV, and we’re thinking, it will be named iTV… Shocking!
