The CRH380 train has broken speed records all over the world.

The new Chinese high-speed rail line has been opened in this Asian country, it is able to run at 260 mph, which is significantly faster than the Japanese bullet train, which is able to run at a max speed of 190 mph or 300 kilometers per hour.

Even though 260 mph is not the average speed of this Chinese train, even its average speed of 220 mph is still an improvement to what the rest of the world has.

The CRH380 is on a train line that covers a distance of 10,000 miles. The train is set for operation by 2012.

The acceleration of the development of Chinese technology is stunning. The country that was formerly known for being a force in produicing manpower are making a clear statement that their technology is also at par, if not, better than the rest of the world.
