Halloween is that time of the year where you quit thinking about your dentist’s advice and stock up on candy. For some, it means more reason to break out the cool costumes to impress your friends by scaring the daylights out of them. For those with kids, however, Halloween means it’s that time of the year where your kids can have fun and enjoy being a kid.

It is important however to keep safe and prioritize your child’s safety. It is not all about trick or treating, as some kids may even be tricked into falling into danger. Here are some tips and tricks for your child’s safety:

It is important to get a gadget which helps you locate your child. A celphone will do. It is best to equip your child with a celphone, especially when they go trick or treating so you can call them whenever you need to. While you are at it, you can also get a locator app or a locator service for your child’s phone. This way you can find out exactly where your child is, even without having to call them.

Flashlights and cool night lights are especially great for kids in darker alley ways. Why not some flashlights which lend a glow in the dark light for that extra-spook while lighting the way?

Parents can also put tags in their kids containing the kid’s address, the parent’s contact information, and other relevant information which can be used if the child gets lost.

As always, safety is key this Halloween season.
