The Avengers film in Space
The Avengers which is the third highest grossing film of all time, after Avatar and Titanic, was one of the most explosive, commercially-successful and critically acclaimed film of 2012. It has not yet lost its luster and popularity but it seems that the next movie aims to take things a step further by screening the film in space!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, expect the high-flying superheroes to be floating in space. Marvel Studios has announced that they will be teaming up with NASA so that they will send their high-flying superheroes to the International Space Station so that the ISS crew can enjoy the movie.
There were some parts of the movie’s principal photography which were shot in space, in the NASA facility in Texas. It is only fitting that the space station’s crew can enjoy the film.
“These are the types of things that help to keep the crew connected to home, which is a huge morale boost while being away for long periods of time,” Dan Cook, Psychological Support Coordinator of the ISS has to say about the future screenings.
While there are only six members of the space station’s crew, expect the NASA astronauts to be thoroughly enjoying the film. Perhaps they will even see some of NASA’s gadgets in the film’s backgrounds.
