Let’s set the previous news aside about Apple’s controversial work conditions for those who toil to make the iPad and other touch screen devices work, and let’s try to some positive news. Mark you calendars, Apple fans. March 2 is the date for the launch of the iPad 2.

What can be expected from the second version of the hit tablet computer? Sources are saying that the iPad 2 will don a camera on the front and at the back. Expect to be slimmer and lighter. And the resolution display will also have some evident improvements.

There were previous rumors that the iPad will only be released on the early parts of the third quarter, or later parts of the previous one. But sources are saying that the Apple iPad 2 will be launched on the first quarter instead, March 2 to be exact.

The iPad was such a big hit in 2010, selling almost 15 million units worldwide. Some are dubbing it to be last year’s ‘it’ gadget.

Because of the myriad of choices that the tech world is offering, by the end of the year, experts are supposing that at least 80 million people will have their own, and the iPad and the iPad2 are expected to lord over that market.

Gadgetepoint may not give you the option to buy a tablet computer, but they have a slew of toys and gizmos that are just as entertaining.

Gadgetepoint has never really liked fallouts. We’re all for smooth relationships between every one. But it’s hard not to notice the rift between the relationship between these two giants in the internet world.

Google has dominated the list of the most visited websites for years, and when Facebook came along, Google’s kingship was then questioned and the Facebook took the number one slot, has been holding on to the position for a few years for now.

There has been some sort of Cold War between the two web players. People were aware that their relationship was not the best; but recent reports by both these companies might suggest that there is war.

Google has stated that it is not allowing Facebook from having access to its contacts API — an aspect of Facebook’s social reach.

And another instance that will show that their relationship will not be too good in the next few months is that Google has released a potential competitor to Facebook — GoogleMe.

But the ammunition has not been all coming from the side of Google, Facebook also has a loaded gun. Facebook partners with Microsoft and Bing, two known competitors of the search engine giant.

But it’s all too common for these companies to be not in good terms, to expect everyone to get along will be asking too much. Gadgetepoint tries to make everyone get along by providing forms of entertainment where everyone will get along.

A child that spends more than two hours a day watching television or playing computer games is more prone to psychological problems. And their higher rate of risk will not go down even if the child engages in high levels of physical activity.

For a span of seven days, 1,000 children aged 10 to eleven filled out a questionnaire that inquires how much time they spend in front of a television or a computer daily. The questions were mostly about their emotional, behavioral, and peer-related problems.

Another test was run to measure their’ physical activities.

The results were conclusive. The chances of psychological difficulties for the children that spent more than two hours a day in front of these electronic gadgets is sixty percent more likely than those who spend less screen time, reported the researchers from the University of Bristol.

Those who spent more than two hurs a day in front of these screens, the odds more than doubled.

“We know that physical activity is good for both physical and mental health in children and there is some evidence that screen viewing is associated with negative behaviors.”

“But it wasn’t clear whether having high physical activity levels would ‘compensate’ for high levels of screen viewing in children.” stated Dr. Angie Page, a researcher of the mentioned University.

Variation is always healthy; it’s a good thing that there are a number of fun toys from Gadgetepoint that function well even if you don’t plug them. You don’t need electricity to have fun!

The P2P sharing force, thepiratebay.org remains operational after being down for a few hours because of attempts by authorities from different countries to stop the operations of the popular torrent downloading and file sharing website.

P2P is one of the biggest nuisance of media industries such as music, movie, and literature.

The website became completely down for a few hours as up to 14 countries tried to sink the ship named PirateBay. The 14 countries included, UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Sweden. But most of the raiding were done in Sweden.

However the simultaneous and consequent raids still cannot sink the ship. Police investigated several location including the Umea University in Sweden, and a Solna-based company, PRQ.

Mikael Viberg of PRQ stated to TorrentFreak that “At 9:00 this morning, five policemen were here. They were interested in who were using two IP addresses from 2009 and onwards. We have no records of our clients but we’re handing over the e-mail addresses for those behind the IPs. However, it’s rare that our clients have mail addresses that are traceable”.

And so the ship remains afloat.

Many people think that P2P website are life savers because they are able to download their favorite files for free. And even though the products from Gadgetepoint are not free, they sure are affordable and convenient to buy.

Like the daddy mack of all Mafia series, Godfather II, Mafia II fared better than its predecessor.

Not only is Mafia II better than “Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven”, it also is dominating gaming charts in multiple platforms like the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the PC.

The third-person action-adventure video game eliminates its competition and holds off another crime shooter, Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days humbly stays at the number two spot.

The game which is published by 2k Games is set on a fictional city of Empire Bay some time in the 1940s. This setting is perfect for a compelling crime drama that is never short of heart thumping gameplay.

Even though the graphics are deemed as nothing out of the ordinary, the soundtrack is getting much raves from the critics as the game features many songs from the 40s, that are classical but are still appropriate for the mood of the scenes.

But Mafia 2 needs to hold the right cards within the next few weeks as Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.K.2 for the Xbox 360 is covetting the top spot and is worthy competition. Some Nintendo titles are also out to take Mafia 2 out of its territory as Metroid: Other M and Tetris Party Deluxe are deemed to climb the charts in the next few weeks.

If these games get your engine going, you can get similar excitement from the gadgets from Gadgetepoint!

The European launch date of the much awaited addition to the Xbox 360’s arsenal has finally been announced. Mark November 10, 2010 on your calendars as this is the day that Nintendo Wii’s game sensors will meet its match on European shores.

With the staggering lead in the race of Nintendo Wii against its competitors, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, both the latter competitors are finding ways to take a chunk off the significantly larger market share of the Wii.

And even without statistics and further study, mere observation will make you arrive at the conclusion that what sets the Wii apart from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is that it’s more interactive with it’s motion sensitivity.

Enter Kinect.

Microsoft Europe confirmed that the official launch date of Kinect will be Novermber 10, four dats after the release in the United States.

Microsoft states that the timing of the release will be perfect. Consumers get into a buying frenzy when the holliday season is nearing; however, the release of PlayStation Move will be two months ahead of its competitor; and the 2-month difference may be a significant factor in the consumer’s decision.

There are other gadgets in Gadgetepoint. that will keep your heart rate up and are still fun and enjoyable. Browse through our online catalogue to see.

It is common knowledge for Twitter users that a tweet can only have 140 characters on it.

But au contraire, a recent Twitter bug shows that users can post up to 3,000 characters, maybe even more.

The bug was reported in the Twitter Development Talk Google Group by forumer Chris White. He posted a step-by-step procedure of how to exceed the 140 character limit that the social networking site has. He said that when you go directly to the Twitter Share URL (http://twitter.com/share?url=) in your Firefox browser, and type your text after the “url=” then you could type as many characters as you want.

For example: “http://twitter.com/share?url=Gadgetepoint is the best place for the coolest and hippest gadgets, And what’s even better is that they deliver right at your doorstep. Check out the website and prepare to be excited”. If you type this in the URL after you log-in, you’ll be able to make this your status message even if the truthful statement is more than 140 characters.

But such “feature” or “bug”, depends on how you see it, wouldn’t be there for a long time as Twitter employee John Adams thanked Chris White online for exposing the said bug and stated that, “I filed a bug with our webclient team,” Expect that this feature or bug will no longer be available in the near future.

That’s too bad. If you the above message can’t be posted in Twitter anymore, you might as well try to see if the statement is correct by visiting Gadgetepoint.

The undead version caricature of the King of Pop was in the game even before he has passed away; but with the resemblance was too close to the image of Michael Jackson in the music video of Thriller resulting to some complaints from the Estate.

“The Estate of Michael Jackson objected to our use of the ‘dancing zombie’ in Plants vs. Zombies based on its view that the zombie too closely resembled Michael Jackson. After receiving this objection, PopCap made a business decision to retire the original ‘dancing zombie.’” stated PopCap’s rep in a statement issued by MTV’s Multiplayer blog.

Dancing Zombie gets a makeover, and becomes groovier than his predecessor; Even the description changed for this revision in Dancing Zombie, “Dancing Zombie’s latest album, “GrarrBRAINSarblarbl,” is already rocketing up the undead charts.”
