The European launch date of the much awaited addition to the Xbox 360’s arsenal has finally been announced. Mark November 10, 2010 on your calendars as this is the day that Nintendo Wii’s game sensors will meet its match on European shores.

With the staggering lead in the race of Nintendo Wii against its competitors, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, both the latter competitors are finding ways to take a chunk off the significantly larger market share of the Wii.

And even without statistics and further study, mere observation will make you arrive at the conclusion that what sets the Wii apart from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is that it’s more interactive with it’s motion sensitivity.

Enter Kinect.

Microsoft Europe confirmed that the official launch date of Kinect will be Novermber 10, four dats after the release in the United States.

Microsoft states that the timing of the release will be perfect. Consumers get into a buying frenzy when the holliday season is nearing; however, the release of PlayStation Move will be two months ahead of its competitor; and the 2-month difference may be a significant factor in the consumer’s decision.

There are other gadgets in Gadgetepoint. that will keep your heart rate up and are still fun and enjoyable. Browse through our online catalogue to see.

Planning of having a party but are worried about who’s going to do all the mixing n’ playing of music? Then think of hiring a DJ to do the job. But is getting the service of a professional DJ always necessary? Well, not so much. Because instead or resorting to spending more cash for your some party sounds, you can simply leave this part to the hands of your ever-reliable gadget. Your very own sound system that is!

Be your own DJ and start with checking everything you need for the sound setup—from MP3 player, to computer, to speakers, to cables, to MP3 remote control, to batteries and power supply. Better make a checklist so you won’t forget a thing. Also, if you know you’ll use batteries, make sure you have spares!

When it comes to your MP3 amp, it should always match your selections. Your speakers must literally rock your party should you choose music that’s heavy on bass. Adjust your equalizers if necessary.

Depending on your theme and age group, a mix of old and new songs of different artists and genre would be good. Check your computer or your MP3 player if you have enough music to create your compilation. If you don’t, then you can either borrow some CD’s from your friends. This is also helpful when you’re having doubts on what to play. Here, you’d know what songs they appreciate. The Internet is another source where you can find tons of music. Just a reminder: download from a safe source or your computer will go all crashing down.

Arrange the music by genre instead of going by artist. This way, you don’t bore your visitors because you are setting the mood of the party. It also creates a smooth transition from one song to another making the music pleasant to everyone’s ears.

There you go. It’s that easy to be a DJ at your own party. With all this, everyone will pretty much have a great time. You can even burn the best songs that were played during the party, and distribute to your guests. They’d love it as a souvenir.

•	Shopping is another reason for us to enjoy this season. Aside from the satisfaction that shopaholics get from hitting the malls and buying gifts, the idea of shopping for the people special to our hearts is more than enough to make us happy.

•	Gift-giving. We all tend to get so excited about receiving wonderful Christmas presents. But more than that, we feel especially glad to give gifts to our families and friends and to see the joy in their eyes as they unwrap our presents for them.

•	Christmas break. Many people see Christmas as another reason to feel stressed with all the Christmas rush going on. But for the optimistic minds, Christmas is an opportunity for rest and relaxation. Indeed, we need not to put ourselves to so much trouble because we can actually avoid the panic and give ourselves a deserved break by planning and shopping in advance.

•	Parties. Reunions with families and friends are always fun, especially when games, music and entertainment are present in the party.

Halloween parties are always fun, especially if everyone will be in their scariest, most bizarre costumes they have—Frankenstein, white lady, Dracula, and many others. But if you’d be hosting and not coming as a guest this year, it’s time to show your invites what hell of a party you have. Here’s how:

Set up a place as creepy as an abandoned haunted house.

Transform your front door into something really spooky. Put some fake cobwebs, make it look like a heavy wooden door, or create a design that is similar to a coffin’s cover. You can even add an eerie sound effect every time the door opens.

Instead of setting up couches and chairs where your guests can sit on, why not have a make-shift of some tombstones.

Have so that candies, cookies, and finger food that’s fancy and yummy yet weird looking, and some bloody or slimey refreshments that will definitely keep the party going.

Wicked Wraps – miniature sweet pickles, cream cheese, sliced salami, and toothpicks. Cut the miniature pickles into fourths lengthwise (should be of same length with salami slices). Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on a salami slice and wrap around a pickle slice. Seal it with a toothpick.

Bug Juice Smoothies – 2 cups of vanilla yogurt, 2 bananas, cut into chunks, 1 cup of strawberries, 1 cup orange juice, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, gummy worms. Set aside the candies. Blend everything using a blender set in a high speed. Pour into a punch bowl, add gummy worms and serve.

Keep everyone busy with exciting games especially for the occasion. Play Murder Mystery Games like The Porthole Affair for a lot of action and terrifying investigation. Another game is Dead on Time which for sure will give everyone an evening full of suspense and drama.
Halloween parties are always fun, but with these tips, you’re sure that your party is the greatest and the most thrilling Halloween party you’ve ever thrown, that you’re visitors can’t help but go, “This, truly is one hell of a party!”

Hosting a cocktail party, contrary to the belief of a lot of people, is not that hard to do. In fact, among the many types of parties, a cocktail party is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to entertain guests. Here are some tips on how to host a successful cocktail party:

Hosting a cocktail party, contrary to the belief of a lot of people, is not that hard to do. In fact, among the many types of parties, a cocktail party is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to entertain guests. Here are some tips on how to host a successful cocktail party:

Send out your invitations 2-4 weeks in advance. For large and formal affairs, a written invitation is a must. For small ones, inviting friends and acquaintances over can be done by email, telephone or mobile phones. It is important to note the nature of the party, occasion or reason for celebration, date and time.

For large affairs, you may want to contact an event coordinator to assist you in preparing the party. Make necessary arrangements with caterers and bartenders. Should you want to have it all done by yourself, prepare a cocktail menu and plan out how you will get everything started and done. The Four-bottle Butler can also help you out in serving the drinks.

In parties like this, alcoholic drink is a staple, but you should also have some juice, soda and aqua for your guests who prefer to stick with the non-alcoholic beverage. Don’t forget the ice. Lots of ice.

To break the ice, have some drinking games that everyone will surely enjoy –there’s Down in One, Drinking Snakes and Ladders and a lot more.

Being a host of the party that entails mingling and entertaining everyone is done without much hassle if you just check on these important details. Cocktail parties, though short and not that grand like balls, debuts or weddings, will always be subtly sophisticated and sweet.

It is 9pm. I’m getting ready to hit the club. I can’t wait. I reach for my computer, open my media player and press play. Now I’m pumped! My favorite hip hop flow from my speakers. Chilling in my room with my “B-Boy” stance, I started to move with the beat. If only I had a fine lady in my arms, it would be sweet. Now I REALLY can’t wait to hit that dance floor.

The unthinkable happens – a series of unfortunate events from my friends getting into an accident to hearing the piter-pater of the greatest storm to ever hit the city falls on my lap in a span of 10 minutes. My night is over. Then I wake up all covered in sweat.

I fell asleep in front of my computer and it is a Friday night. I get ready, open my media player and hit play. Deja vu. No! It wasn’t just a dream. It was premonition. The series of unfortunate events that I dreamed about came true. My night was now really over. I look to my media player and to my Hip Hop Speaker Dog bopping its head to the beat. Chilling in my room with my “B-Boy” stance, I started to move with the beat. The party in my room was hot. It got even hotter when my sexy neighbor knocked on my door. It was the best party I ever had in my room. My Hip Hop Speaker Dog saved my night.

Girls, drinks, food, and entertainment surely are just few of the good things about Vegas. Still, nothing beats the fun and pleasure Casinos bring to everyone there. But if you want to taste the thrill of Vegas, then have some of our great stuff right at your own home.

Penny Pusher. It’s just a miniature that Vegas and other casinos have, but this toy brings you the same fun as what you get in arcades. It uses plastic pennies or even your 1p coins for a more realistic effect. Also, it comes with lights and switchable music to complete its look and feel.

Wondering how to dodge this situation? Maybe owning an uber cool shirt can do the trick. Like T-Clock T-Shirt. It has a fully operational electro luminescence panel powered by a really tiny battery pack in the inside pocket of the shirt. The print alone—digital clock—is enough to get the crowd’s attention. With this, you can party all night without worrying about things that might ruin your look.

Whether you want your drinks light or hard, a friend like the Four Bottle Bar Butler is a must have.
