The European launch date of the much awaited addition to the Xbox 360’s arsenal has finally been announced. Mark November 10, 2010 on your calendars as this is the day that Nintendo Wii’s game sensors will meet its match on European shores.

With the staggering lead in the race of Nintendo Wii against its competitors, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, both the latter competitors are finding ways to take a chunk off the significantly larger market share of the Wii.

And even without statistics and further study, mere observation will make you arrive at the conclusion that what sets the Wii apart from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is that it’s more interactive with it’s motion sensitivity.

Enter Kinect.

Microsoft Europe confirmed that the official launch date of Kinect will be Novermber 10, four dats after the release in the United States.

Microsoft states that the timing of the release will be perfect. Consumers get into a buying frenzy when the holliday season is nearing; however, the release of PlayStation Move will be two months ahead of its competitor; and the 2-month difference may be a significant factor in the consumer’s decision.

There are other gadgets in Gadgetepoint. that will keep your heart rate up and are still fun and enjoyable. Browse through our online catalogue to see.

The Teasmade Alarm Clock not only wakes you up, it also makes your tea for you.

And by stereoptype, British blokes are tea lovers, but when the Teasmade Alarm Clock, most likely it means time to wake up; and not necessarily tea time; but that shouldn’t stop you from appreciating this device.

The product is designed so that by the time that the alarm goes off, you’ll have hot water in the ceramic tea pot that comes along with the package that you can use to make tea, or coffee, or hot chocolate, or any hot drink for that matter.

The Teasmade Alarm Clock has a LCD-illuminated analog clock face, which is necessary for an alarm clock to be fully functional.

The pot can hold up to 2.5 cups of water. It would be advisable that you add the tea bag before you visit the sandman and night enters, so that you’ll wake up and the subtle aroma of tea leaves will tickle your sense of smell.

But there are already many alarm clock-coffee maker tie ups there. And since we’re talking about time and clocks, do you know what will be super cool? Gadgetepoint’s T-Clock T-Shirt. When people ask, “what’s the time?” No need to say single word, just flash your awesome T-shirt!

The sales of the PSP hasn’t been stellar. Since 2005, the handhled console of Sony hasn’t been able to establish a lead against its main competitor, the Nintendo Wii. But Nintendo has been the king in this battle for years, as the dominance of the GameBoy in the past decade has led Nintendo to the perfection of its craft.

But Sony will not go down without a fight, as they are revamping their gears and, according to reliable sources, are set to release the PSP 2. Can Sony finally get a bigger chunk of the handheld console gaming market?

The PSP 2 is said to come with a powerful four-core processing system. If you don’t know how strong that is, imagine getting half of the the power of the majestic PS3 and having that much processing power moved to a handheld device as the PS3 runs on an eight-core variation.

Graphics are bound to stun anyone. Who would have thought that a handheld gaming console can contain so much power?

The PSP 2 is said to have 2 cameras and a much anticipated new addition, two analog sticks.

The PSP 2 are said to be set for release by the end of this year.

Game crazy? Gadgetepoint is the right place for you.

Samsung will not ride the limousine, if it did, why would that be news? Nor are the guys from Samsung releasing their very own cars. Samsung phones will get a revamp and they will give a fresh perspective to the industry as they will run on the Linux Mobile platform, and not on another Android, or Symbian, or Windows Mobile operating system. We still do not know how the Linux platform fares to its competitors and we, at least our Korean counterparts, wouldn’t need to wait until the end of 2009 for us to know.

The SCH-M510 which was released in Korea in mid-November this year comes with 3.5” WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and is WiFi and Bluetooth ready. It has a 5-megapixel camera to boot. These, among other features of the phone gives it functionality in various media which makes it a worthy competitor in the mobile telecom market

The SCH-M510 is released via the SK Telecom while it will be hosted by NTT DOCOMO and Vodafone in other locations.

“Samsung has now released three LiMo compliant handsets, which demonstrate Samsung’s deep commitment to the LiMo Foundation and also to the flexibility of the LiMo Platform.”, said Jong-In Kim, vice president of Product Planning Training of Samsung Electronics.
Because of the Linux’s independent platform which is ideal for personalization and modification, this Samsung phone will become highly customizable and which gives the SCH-M510 virtually unlimited potential.

You don’t need to head to the far east just to see functional and fresh gadgets. Innovation is just a click away with Gadgetepoint!

Music is the universal language. And anyone can appreciate a good singer. But let’s say that you were not vocally gifted. Well, great music players are just as well appreciated.

So, let’s say that you’re at a party and this guitar playing bloke is stealing all the attention. He’s mediocre at best but he has everyone entertained. Not only is he getting the attention from all the people, he is also stealing the limelight from you.

Fortunately the guys from Gadgetepoint, have something for you that can give you that much desired and much deserved attention.

The Musical Fingers let’s you play sweet music anywhere. It’s a glove that allows you to create notes by pressing down on any surface to activate the sensors in the gloves. Vary the note by varying the fingertip applying pressure, holding down the heel gives you a new set of sounds.

Why settle for piano chords and sounds when you can be an instant one man band with this glove. It produces sounds like that of an organ, a keyboard, mandolin, trumpet, music box, the drums, and the guitar. Beat that, show off guitar player!

When you become the center of attention, don’t forget to thank Gadgetepoint, for such a sweet suggestion.

I know it is just November, but in a few weeks time, Christmas season is there before you even know it. And because the Christmas season is just around the corner, we all know that it is the time for looking for the ideal Christmas gift, it’s also the time for spending time with your loved ones.

But sometimes, we never really look forward to meeting them because the conversations become blah and you have pretty much talked about everything else before.

Spice things up with cool games that will involve everyone! Think of games that are fun no matter what age group you belong to because most likely family gatherings will have people from toddlers to grannies, these games are ideal. Christmas gift-giving will not be the main attraction this time around.

Games like Where’s in the Bag? and Hot Potato will make everyone want to join in. With these games, being older is not really an advantage because they will test your reflexes and your common knowledge.

If you’re playing with adults, nothing becomes more entertaining than Pass Out. It is not really the game itself that is entertaining, it’s what people do because of the game and what they do afterwards that will make you drop to the floor and laugh.

These games are sure to be fun; and with big groups, they are ideal. Christmas gifts are not even required when you’re having this much fun.

Looking for the ideal Christmas gift? Check out Gadgetepoint. You’ll even have second thoughts on giving them away.

All Terrain Action Camera
If your bro’s a smaller version of Tony Hawk, then the All Terrain Action Camera is the perfect companion for him. It can record his ollies, flips, and other skateboarding tricks – all he has to do is snap it on to his helmet. The camera also attaches to bikes.

RC Megatech Hydrofly 2
A radio controlled toy that can match your brother’s limitless energy – the RC Megatech Hydrofly 2. It can go on land, on water, even in the air! Acceleration, speed and maneuverability are all rolled up into one package with this toy.

Big Salvo Foam Gun
Give your brother the Big Salvo Foam Gun and he’ll have a hard time putting it down. It can shoot foam missiles up to fifty feet, and even has the option of shooting up to four at once. You might end up becoming your brother’s favourite target, but at least you won’t get hurt!
