The Japanese word “demekin” means pop-eyed goldfish. It’s also the name of the world’s teeniest, tiniest fisheye camera. The Demekin camera packs so much wide angle in its ultra compact body, it’s amazing. Made in Japan, it measures 1.5 square inches, uses 110 film, and even comes in packaging that’s designed to look like a fishbowl. Images come out soft, dreamy, and nostalgic. The first and only 110 camera with a fisheye lens, the Demekin is quite a catch indeed!
