About Welsh Scrabble
Scrabble yn Gymraeg, anyone? (That's "Scrabble in Welsh" for non-Welsh speakers.) Native speakers at home and abroad, and learners of the Welsh language will surely enjoy this Welsh version of Scrabble. Specially adapted for the language, there are no X's, Q's or Z's in this game. Instead, tiles will carry the Welsh phonics of LL, RH, TH, and NG. Scoring is particularly modified for the Welsh language as well. More common letters, such as Y and W, are worth only one point. Scrabble yn Gymraeg not only makes a good pastime, it can also aid one in becoming more familiar with the Welsh language.
